Last Saturday we (which means my dad and I) did this:

Wonder why? This is a hole for the pipes of the extractor. That means that I finally started my biggest project up to now. The kitchen. My parents will get a new kitchen (downstairs) and I will get their old one (upstairs) since there never was one. In near future this...

...should look approximately like that:

Will be a bit of work, but I'm really looking forward to it and I imagine that I will be really proud afterwards :) So to get a step closer to that we also nicely closed that hole again with PU foam and grout (if that is the correct word).

You see that we drilled a hole and put a screw in this flap-thingy. We did that to make it heavier, that it wouldn't move if you sneeze when you sit in the kitchen. Of course it still moves very easily now. I hope not to much, since it always makes this little "click" sound when it closes again.

Well, now everything is prepared for painting and most likely I will maximum have time to do the pantry this week. Its already itching in my fingers.. I want to start or better: to continue! Switches and plugs - all of them washed with soap and like new now - are also waiting to be put on again.
